Scott Cook of Cogmedix is Named President of Society of Quality Assurance

WORCESTER, Mass., Jan. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Coghlin Companies' Cogmedix is proud to announce that Scott Cook, Director of Quality and Compliance, has been named Society of Quality Assurance President. The SQA is a professional membership organization whose mission is to promote and advance an understanding of the principles of quality assurance in human, animal and environmental health research. Through his work as Director of Quality and Compliance with Cogmedix, a medical device manufacturer, Cook is well equipped for the privilege of serving as SQA President. Cook has been involved in the organization for years, serving in the New England Regional Chapter as Vice President, President and Past President. He has over 18 years of biopharmaceutical experience, working for Astra Pharmaceutical, Biogen, Primedica, Charles River and Cogmedix, in positions involving cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), GLP (Good Laboratory Practices), and GCP (Good Clinical Practices) regulations.
