Dr. Morris currently serves as Vice President of Education and the Executive Director of the Institute for Excellence at Yale New Haven Health System, where he is responsible for leadership development, succession planning, organization development, e-learning, and simulation. It is my desire to utilize my skills and talents to do for others what was done for me. I firmly believe that Scholarship America personifies this same conviction and I look forward to serving on this board," said Dr. Morris.
"Jay is an inspirational leader with a background that gives him incredible insight to Scholarship America's work. I am delighted that he has agreed to bring his talents to our organization, as we work to achieve our strategic goals," said Lauren A. Segal, president and CEO of Scholarship America.
In addition to receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology, Dr. Morris earned a JD from Woodrow Wilson College of Law and both his MA in Organization Development and PhD in Corporate Instructional Design from Loyola University in Chicago. He was an Affiliate Professor in the Organizational Dynamics Graduate Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
