Schaffer Consulting Partner Named One Of 'Top 100 Global Thinkers'
Foreign Policy Recognizes Nadim Matta for Driving Large-Scale Change through Rapid Results
STAMFORD, Conn., Nov. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The tremendous impact of Schaffer Consulting's Rapid Results approach reached another milestone as Nadim Matta, senior partner, was just named one of Foreign Policy's Top 100 Global Thinkers of 2012. Joining prestigious past awardees such as President Barack Obama and Bill Gates, Matta was honored for implementing Schaffer's Rapid Results to improve the world in which we work and live.
"This award is a wonderful recognition of Nadim's tireless efforts to make a difference in the lives of people everywhere and to champion a truly transformative way of working," said Matthew McCreight, managing partner, Schaffer Consulting. "Our Rapid Results approach has proven itself as a groundbreaking formula to mobilize organizations and create highly effective large-scale change. We are exceptionally proud of all that has been accomplished by Nadim and the many people involved in the Rapid Results Institute."
From Businesses to Social Impact
Conceived as a cornerstone for rapid, major change within global companies such as General Electric, Merck, Cisco, BMW and Banorte, Rapid Results was adapted to Corporate Social Responsibility efforts and the non-profit sector. Through this methodology, Schaffer, a strong advocate for bettering communities worldwide, has helped a range of organizations create positive impacts, including:
- The World Bank by arming developing countries to combat complex challenges such as the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Eritrea;
- Say Yes To Education, a non-profit organization committed to dramatically increasing high school and college graduation rates for inner-city youth across individual schools and entire cities such as Syracuse and Buffalo, N.Y.
Rapid Results, Rapid Rewards
Based on the success of its work in partnership with the World Bank, and growing out of a desire to make a major difference in the lives of people in developing parts of the world, Schaffer Consulting founded the non-profit Rapid Results Institute in 2006 to build capacity for accelerating implementation of social impact programs. As president of the Institute since inception, Matta has championed the use of this transformational approach in more than a dozen countries in Africa, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East.
