Sara Rubenstein of Lend Lease Awarded one of the Construction Industry's Top Honors
NEW YORK, Feb. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Property solutions and infrastructure provider, Lend Lease, is pleased to announce that Sara Rubenstein, has been named one of ENR New York's Top 20 Under 40.
Each year, ENR New York recognizes 20 contributors under 40 years old from throughout the New York metropolitan area for contributions made to the Real Estate and Construction community. Award recipients are recognized for their job responsibilities, project work, certifications, professional licensures and/or accreditations, community service, excellence and leadership qualities, and career experiences.
Currently Sara Rubenstein serves as Associate Counsel in the Legal Department for the Americas region of Lend Lease. Ms. Rubenstein works with the General Counsel and the senior officers and directors from the Americas region of Lend Lease to develop, implement, communicate and enforce legal and organizational policies. She concentrates on drafting and negotiating complex construction agreements and general real estate contracts and subcontracts, leases, nondisclosure agreements, joint venture agreements, consulting agreements and administering other legal matters.

Prior to joining Lend Lease, Ms. Rubenstein was in private practice. Her previous experience included working as an Associate in the Real Estate group for Herrick, Feinstein LLP, where she advised prominent owners, lenders and developers, including REITs and private equity funds, on real estate acquisitions, depositions, development, financings, workouts, restructurings and joint ventures. Ms. Rubenstein earned a Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with concentrations in Finance and Accounting, from the University of Miami.
Lend Lease manages the construction of some of the most complicated high rise construction projects in the industry. Since 2000, Lend Lease has constructed approximately 238 high rise projects valued at over $22 billion representing over 120 million square feet and nearly 7,500 floors. Currently Lend Lease is managing the construction of fifteen (15) high rise towers that are over 30 floors in the United States and Mexico.
