Sanrio's small gift, big smile philosophy supports the National Day of Giving concept of making a purchase that benefits those in need by offering limited edition canvas tote bags featuring two characters – Pompompurin®, a golden retriever dog with a brown beret and Chococat®, a curious little black cat. The supercute totes will retail for $30, with $6 of each sale going to The Humane Society to benefit animals in need. Whether you're a dog person or a cat person, Sanrio lover or animal advocate (or all of the above!), everyone can give back with the purchase of the totes at select Sanrio stores, online at www.sanrio.com and at Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies retail stores throughout Los Angeles, CA, from November 29 thru January 31, 2017.
In addition to the tote bags, the Hello Kitty Cafe has created two special edition Chococat and Pompompurin cookies for the collaboration. The sweet treats will retail for $5, with $1 from each cookie sale going to The Humane Society. Available exclusively at the Hello Kitty Cafe Pop-Up Container at the Irvine Spectrum Center in Irvine, CA, the cookies will be available on the National Day of Giving through January 31, 2017.
Spreading smiles through small gifts is at the core of the Sanrio brand, and what better gift to give this season than one that gives back to help animals in need. To celebrate the collaboration of Sanrio and The Humane Society of the United States, Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies in Redondo Beach, CA, will also be hosting an all day, in-store event on Saturday December 3. Guests are invited to bring their pets and take part in activities, photo opportunities and meet and greets with Chococat and Pompompurin.
