Plan of Care Management, Client Speaker Verification and Client Task Validation to Support Home Care Providers

These solutions are now available in Sandata's Santrax® Telephony, allowing for enhanced caregiver verification and care plan reconciliation at the point of care, increasing compliance and supporting the delivery of quality care.
Santrax® Telephony is part of Sandata's Electronic Visit Verification suite of solutions. It validates data instantaneously in real-time at the point of care, and stores the data via the web with 24/7 accessibility. Caregivers provide information via Electronic Visit Verification using the patients' land line phone. Santrax® Telephony tracks caregiver arrival and departure times, location of service delivery (using proprietary ANI processing), member and direct care provider IDs, and tasks performed during a visit.
Our Plan of Care Management solutions focus on increasing caregiver compliance through IVR prompting. During the call in process, Plan of Care Prompting notifies the caregiver of the specific tasks that they are scheduled to provide. Then during the call out process, Plan of Care Confirmation reconciles the tasks entered by the caregiver against the prescribed Plan of Care performed. If not all scheduled tasks were recorded, an alert is generated, prompting the caregiver to perform the missing tasks and enter them in the system.
Client Speaker Verification adds new functionality to our existing Employee Speaker Verification feature and will help to support the needs of both traditional home based and consumer directed care. Our traditional Employee Speaker Verification uses voice biometric technology to ensure that the correct caregiver is serving the correct patient, while Client Speaker Verification uses the same biometric technology to validate the patient's identity to ensure the right patient is being provided care. Client Task Validation provides an additional layer of compliance tracking allowing the client to confirm that the tasks entered by the caregiver have been completed. The combination of these new features will serve to improve compliance and increase the quality of patient care.
