Safe-T Box 5.0 the Next Generation Secure Data Exchange Platform is Now Available
Patented technology adds additional level of security while securing data in dozens of leading business applications
HERZLYIA, Israel, February 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Safe-T announced today the release of Safe-T Box 5.0, a data exchange platform which now includes more comprehensive protection of sensitive data including an additional level of security and a built-in ability to secure the data in dozens of leading business applications, data repositories and cloud services.
Safe-T Box 5.0 is designed to prevent sensitive data from being accessible to hackers by being the only secure data exchange solution that does not require sensitive data to be stored in the DMZ. Safe-T's RSAccess Secure Front End patented technology eliminates the need to open incoming ports within the firewall, reducing the threat of data breaches, while also simplifying regulation compliance efforts. Data scanning is also performed in an isolated network segment that is not in the DMZ or the LAN, therefore not exposing the files to an external threat during the data scanning process.
With dozens of pre-built connectors Safe-T Box 5.0 enables leading business applications including Microsoft SharePoint, Oracle and Salesforce to securely share sensitive data with users and other applications across a variety of enterprise and cloud storage solutions. Safe-T Box 5.0 includes various authentication methods including SAML, Open ID, Active Directory, LDAP and a built-in authentication server.
Safe-T's security policies enforcement engine allows enterprises to add security layers to existing data exchange processes easily and quickly. The shared data is fully controlled and monitored, providing complete auditing and tracking of who accessed data and when. Tight integration of secure email and secure file transfer offers a true alternative for PGP email solutions. Advanced Secure Mail Gateway offers the most powerful email attachments data scanning for viruses and malwares without any client installation and any change in existing architecture.
"With heightened online collaboration and the rise in enterprise mobility, sensitive corporate data is highly vulnerable," said Ronen Kenig, VP of Marketing and Product Management at Safe-T. "At Safe-T we are committed to developing easy to use and implement tools that enable IT managers to enforce security policies efficiently and effectively while preventing the high cost and brand erosion caused by data breaches."
