WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., May 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Sabra® Dipping Company, in conjunction with Fencing in the Schools, today announced they will sponsor fencing programs for thousands of students across the country during the 2014-2015 school year. The students will be provided with everything they need to begin fencing, including the use of specially designed, state-of-the-art equipment, and lessons from trained instructors. To launch the program, each school will receive a visit from an Olympian and learn about the value of healthy living and healthy snacking while sharing some Sabra hummus, guacamole, salsa, and Greek yogurt veggie dip.

"Only one-fourth of 12-15-year-olds get the recommended 60-minutes of physical activity per day. Since its launch last year, Fencing in the Schools has started fencing programs in 7 states and introduced the sport to over 10,000 children. With Sabra's help, they hope to double that number this year and reach 1,000,000 kids by 2023.
