Sabio Wins OMMA's Best Mobile Award For Lyft's "Round Up & Donate" Campaign
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Sabio, the media and technology company behind App Science®, today announced its Lyft "Round Up & Donate" campaign won an OMMA Award in the Best Mobile: Single Execution category.
Lyft's "Round Up & Donate" program allowed riders to make a charitable contribution when they rode with the service. For riders who opted into the program, Lyft automatically rounded their fare up to the nearest whole dollar and donated the difference to a charitable cause. Lyft partnered with DigitasLBi along with Sabio and the Trade Desk on a programmatic campaign to drive awareness for the "Round Up & Donate" program.

Lyft created a whimsical, unconventional video starring comedian Fortune Feimster (The Mindy Project) riding shotgun in a convertible with a crew in the back, hilariously explaining the premise of "Round Up & Donate."
Digitas was able to leverage Sabio's App Science® technology to find correlations and create unique segments of target consumers. By identifying consumers with rideshare apps and charity apps like The American Red Cross, Share The Meal, and Snap Donate, DigitasLBi and Sabio utilized app-driven segments to reach rideshare users and philanthropy advocates most likely to respond to the campaign's in-app video ads.
This news comes on the heels of the campaign winning a Campaign Tech Award in the Most Effective Use of Programmatic Media category.
