RingPlus to Provide Content Sponsored Free Cellphone Service on the Sprint Network Starting June 13, 2015
LOS ANGELES, June 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- RingPlus will offer its content sponsored Free Cell Phone Plans utilizing the Sprint Nationwide Network™ for voice, text, and data transport under a wholesale agreement with Sprint.
RingPlus will launch the content sponsored Free Cell Phone Plans on Saturday, June 13, 2015 starting at 3PM PDT, available exclusively at ringplus.net. The content sponsored Free Cell Phone Plans will include 200 minutes, 50 text messages, and 10 MB of LTE data (overages will be billed at two cents per each minute, text, and MB). RingPlus will also offer reduced price paid plans for its higher usage members. In addition to network access, the content sponsored Free Cell Phone Plans will use Sprint's Wholesale Mobile Integration (WMI) connection in combination with RingPlus' patented ringback tone media channel technology to create a new content rich Media Channel for its Members.

RingPlus' Media Channel plays interactive radio style content including music, news and relevant deals from sponsors to the Members during the time a Member waits for a call to be answered. Members can customize their experience by selecting from a wide range of music by genre and news stations by interests. When RingPlus Members are interested in a coupon, music, or news story, they can press five on their phone and receive a text message or an email containing a coupon or additional information.
Sponsors will have the ability to book and bid for coupon placement over RingPlus' easy to use web interface called AdVoice where they can target different demographics and locations based on their advertising needs.
