Richard N. Kessler of McDonald Hopkins receives Lake County Bar Association's Distinguished Member Award

CHICAGO, July 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Richard N. Kessler, managing member of McDonald Hopkins' Chicago office, has been honored with the Distinguished Member Award by the Lake County Bar Association.

The Lake County Bar Association's distinguished member award recognizes individuals who advance the mission and objectives of the Bar.  These attributes include fostering respect for the administration of law, encouraging increased competency of attorneys through continuing legal education, enhancing access to justice, and maintaining the honor and dignity of the legal profession. 

A former prosecutor with the Lake County State's attorney's office, Kessler concentrates his practice exclusively in litigation.  He is the Lake County Bar Association's Chair of the Civil Trial and Appeals Committee.  He has presented seminars, contributed articles and volunteered at the Bar's mortgage foreclosure help desk.
