Revstone Hires Presidents for European and Chinese Divisions
LEXINGTON, Ky., Nov. 8, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Revstone Industries, LLC is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its global leadership team. Donald W. Dees has been named President of Revstone Europe, and Dr. Yu Zhang as President of Revstone China.
Mr. Dees has over 30 years of leadership experience in the automotive and manufacturing industries, including Domestic, European and Asian OEM manufacturers. Mr. Dees has acquired global knowledge in past positions including CEO of BHM Technologies, Vice President of Quality and Service at Hyundai Motor and Vice President of Manufacturing at DaimlerChrysler.
"In Revstone, we have an amazing depth and breadth of manufacturing skills and abilities that should make us a very strong company," said Dees. "It is that depth and breadth that continues to really impress me with Revstone and first drew me to the company."
When asked about opportunities for growth, Dees responded, "We need to quickly expand into Europe and Asia to become a world player. We have a depth and breadth in North America that not many people have, but we need it in Europe and Asia, as well, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to help lead the charge."
Dr. Zhang joins Revstone after serving as CEO of Techrim, LLC, Vice President of Bernal Technologies and Executive Vice President of Bernal-Yawa Corp. He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and has patented two laser-processing technologies.
"I am pleased to lead Revstone into the Chinese market, which is the fastest growing market in the world," said Dr. Zhang. "Revstone is an excellent ambassador of American values and business culture to China. The quality of our products and our unrivaled manufacturing know-how will be a welcome addition to China's large and growing transportation industry, and both Revstone and the Chinese people will benefit greatly from this partnership."
Often when a company focuses on growing its presence in China, the perception is that it plans to ship jobs overseas. Dr. Zhang is quick to point out that this is not the case for Revstone, which is committed to preserving and growing American jobs as it helps rebuild a stronger American auto industry.
"Revstone's American employees and customers will also benefit," Zhang mentions, "as the improved access to affordable raw materials will add to the competitiveness of Revstone products made in America. This should be good news to our American team members."
The future growth of Revstone requires expert opinion and calculated measures in the manufacturing industry; the company is confident in the abilities of Mr. Dees and Dr. Zhang as they bring a myriad of seasoned experiences to their new positions.
