Renowned Industry Expert Returns to Boca Grove as Golf Course Superintendent

BOCA RATON, Fla., Aug. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Boca Grove Golf and Tennis Club, a premier country club in Boca Raton, Fla., welcomes back Pat McHugh, CGCS as Golf Course Superintendent. With nearly four decades of experience in the golf course industry, McHugh is considered a renowned expert in the field. He has the distinction of being a Certified Golf Course Superintendent for the past 25 years. He is recognized for his extensive knowledge of agronomy, comprehensive experience in all phases of golf course construction, cultural practices, project management, as well as national and international consulting.

McHugh is the Founder of North Carolina Turf Support which specializes in turf nutrition, physical and chemical properties of soil, water analysis and consulting in the golf industry. In the past, McHugh served as the Golf Course Superintendent at various country clubs throughout the region (including Boca Grove from 2001 to 2007). In addition, he worked for the PGA during the Federal Express St. Jude Classic, and was the head superintendent at Doral Golf Resort and Spa and hosted the Doral Ryder Open.
