Remedi SeniorCare® Names Industry Veteran Shay Reid Its SVP of Operations
BALTIMORE, Nov. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, market-leading pharmacy provider Remedi SeniorCare® announced the appointment of Shay Reid as its Senior Vice President of Operations. Reid will oversee all pharmacy operations and automated dispensing, supporting Remedi's aggressive growth plan and continued expansion of Paxit™-enabled pharmacies in new markets across the nation.
As SVP of Operations, Reid is responsible for delivering all aspects of outstanding customer service in addition to the distribution of pharmaceutical prescriptions and related products. Remedi's Pharmacy Operations team will report directly to Reid.

Prior to joining Remedi, Reid was the Vice President of Operations for AmerisourceBergen Corporation (ABC), which provides pharmaceuticals, staffing, pharmacy automation and professional consultation services to institutional healthcare providers and pharmacies, retail pharmacies, and alternate care pharmacies. During his tenure at ABC, his team coordinated projects that drove operational efficiency and consistency across 42 distribution centers in the ABC network. Reid serves on the United States Federal Advisory Committee on Supply Chain Competitiveness, as well as the board for the Prescription Drug Security Alliance (PDSA). Additionally, during his time at ABC he served as a member of the Industry Relations Council for the Health Care Distribution Management Association (HDMA). He holds an M.B.A. in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University in Utah and a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Mississippi State University.
