Remedi SeniorCare® Appoints Michael Bruno as SVP of Human Resources, Jan Bohlmann as VP of Automated Services
BALTIMORE, Oct. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Market-leading innovator, Remedi SeniorCare® pharmacy provider today announced new additions to its management team. The appointments of Michael Bruno, who will serve as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, and Jan Bohlmann, the new Vice President of Automated Services, will support Remedi's aggressive growth plan and continued expansion of Paxit™-enabled pharmacies in new markets across the nation.
Bruno will be responsible for the development and implementation of the strategic human resource plan to support Remedi's aggressive growth. With several new pharmacy openings planned for the coming months and years, he will ensure there is a qualified team of new employees to operate each location. Heading up the entire human resource department, Bruno will be a part of Remedi's executive team, and will report directly to chairman and CEO Michael Bronfein.
Bruno has held senior-level positions with many global brands, including PepsiCo where he was the vice president of Human Resources, as well within General Electric Company's exclusive 28-person Global Human Resources Management Program. Most recently, Bruno served as the senior vice president, head of global human resources with social media company Buddy Media. There he managed organization design and development, global staffing, global compensation and benefits, global employee relations, as well as training development. Additionally, he was part of the successful sale of the company to SalesForce.com. Bruno holds a master's degree in Human Resource Administration from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree from Rider University.

To support the expansion of new pharmacies and implementation of Paxit™ systems, Remedi has named Jan Bohlmann as the new Vice President of Automated Services. In this role, Bohlmann will be responsible for all aspects of procurement, installation, optimization, maintenance, and continuous improvement for all automated equipment, including Paxit medication dispensing machines and Uhlmann Packaging equipment. With the Paxit Engineering Team and the team of Electro-Mechanics reporting to him, he will report to Robert Smith, Remedi's executive vice president and chief operating officer. Prior to joining Remedi, Bohlmann was responsible for four automated value add fulfillment centers for Arrow Electronics in North America. Additionally, he led the successful implementation of a new 350,000-square-foot fulfillment center for Amazon.com. He holds a Master of Science in Management Education from Cardinal Stritch University, a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria, as well as a Master of Science degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Germany's Technische Fachhochschule Berlin.
