Red Shoe Movement Announces its 3rd Gender Equality Global Initiative, "Ring the Bell on the 7 Seas"
Joining forces with Honeywell, Microsoft, Ultimate Software and other Celebrating Partners for 2020 International Women's Day
NEW YORK, March 3, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- This March, the Red Shoe Movement (RSM,) an innovative global women leadership platform, celebrates with bell-ringing ceremonies that not only raise awareness and urgency on the importance of advancing women in executive positions, but also amplify the work of organizations such as the United Nations. Since its inception, the RSM's initiative has been one of the top worldwide contributors in social media on International Women's Day.
"The Ring the Bell on the 7 Seas," a Red Shoe Movement® Gender Equality global initiative is an online/offline series of bell-ringing events around the world to recognize and accelerate female representation at all levels of decision-making, equal pay for equal work and shared power. Participants, wearing the iconic RSM's red shoes, ties or accessories, read an empowering manifesto and take turns to ring the RSM 20/20 bell across the globe.
In 2020 the "Ring the Bell on the 7 Seas" is joined by Honeywell as Lead Sponsor and key Celebrating Partners such as Microsoft, Ultimate Software and the California Maritime Academy among others.
