NEW YORK, Feb. 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Following a banner year of growth, including a significant investment in hiring some of the most talented real estate professionals in the industry, luxury real estate auction firm Concierge Auctions is pleased to announce that third generation rancher Billy Long has joined the company to lead its new Land & Ranch Division.

With more than 24 years of real estate experience and more than $400 million in ranch property sales under his belt, Long will lead an area of Concierge's business that has continued to grow exponentially since the company was founded in 2008.

Long is the founding partner and co-owner of Ranch Marketing Associates (RMA), a full-service brokerage firm specializing in ranch and recreation properties. He co-founded the business 12 years ago with business partner Ron Morris, and has worked with the top echelon of ranch brokers in the West in Colorado, Texas, Wyoming, Montana, California and more.

Long's notable key sales include Actor Steven Seagal's 18,000-acre Sun Ranch in Cameron, MT, which sold for $29 million. He also worked with Actor Ricky Schroder on the sale of his Mesa Mood Ranch in Grand Junction, CO for $25 million.

Concierge Auctions has firmly established itself as a leader in the auction of ranch properties, having sold nearly 50 ranch and farm estates in 14 US states and Canada in the last six years. A third generation cattle rancher, Long was born in the Kansas hill country and moved to Colorado with his family as a young boy. He eventually made his way to Beverly Hills, CA, where he launched his real estate career as director of ranches for an entertainment-based real estate firm. He later was instrumental in forming Mason & Morse Ranch Company in Aspen, which also specializes in ranch sales, before co-founding RMA in 2002.
