ReadyTalk API Now Available to Integrate Webinar Data with Third-Party Applications
Integration eliminates time-consuming tasks, improves data accuracy and speeds sales follow-up
DENVER, July 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ReadyTalk today announced the availability of the ReadyTalk API, which allows customers and third-party software vendors to integrate key business applications with ReadyTalk's audio and web conferencing and webinar services.
Webinars have become a heavily relied upon tool for marketing and lead generation; however, the success of webinars really depends on a marketer's ability to quickly deliver accurate information to the sales team. The ReadyTalk API enables other software applications to programmatically share data with ReadyTalk so moving data from one platform to another is efficient, manual tasks are reduced, data accuracy is improved, and the participant experience is streamlined.
"Webinars are a key component of our marketing strategy. Our objective is to make it as easy as possible for our community members to register for these events," said Bradley Kravitz, marketing operations manager, Ryma Technology Solutions. "By integrating our online community with ReadyTalk using the API, we simplified the process so members can register for a webinar with one click."
Using the API, companies can integrate ReadyTalk data with a variety of key business systems, including:
- Corporate websites
- Marketing automation systems
- CRM solutions
- Third-party registration systems
- Ecommerce platforms
- Learning management systems
The ReadyTalk API is field-proven in integrations with a variety of proprietary online registration forms as well as with commercial software applications like Salesforce and Eloqua.
"As we look to help companies grow through effective revenue performance management, we recognized that there was a critical need to understand buyers at all stages of their buying process," said Steve Woods, CTO at Eloqua. "By integrating with open APIs, like ReadyTalk's, we are able to provide our mutual customers with the key insights into buyer behavior that the details of webinar attendance can provide. This saves a marketer time, but more importantly helps them move leads through the pipeline faster."
With the API, ReadyTalk can exchange a variety of data such as registration details (name, email, phone, etc.) and attendance data (attendance status, time spent on the webinar, etc.) with another application. The API offers the flexibility to choose which application handles each step of the process and the resulting data – from capturing registrations to sending confirmations to driving follow-up.
The ReadyTalk Web Services API provides support for integration via SOAP or REST technologies. To help customers and partners develop successful integrations, ReadyTalk offers comprehensive API documentation, a sandbox environment for development and testing, and access to technical support. Customers interested in using the ReadyTalk API should contact their ReadyTalk Account Manager. Software vendors interested in integration should contact the ReadyTalk Partner team.
