RBS Citizens Presents Mobile App Case Study to Senior Financial Executives in Pittsburgh on November 8th
App Targeted to Small- and Medium-Sized Businesses Seeking Tighter Control of Finances
PROVIDENCE, R.I., Nov. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- On November 8, RBS Citizens will present a case study on its accessMOBILE™ smart phone banking app for commercial clients at the Financial Executives International meeting in Pittsburgh. During the presentation, Matt Richardson, head of Product Solutions U.S., GTS Americas, RBS Citizens, will discuss the development and launch of the application and the bottom-line results that both small- and mid-size organizations have realized since downloading.
"Given their crazy travel and meeting schedules, corporate executives need to be able to link into their bank accounts wherever and whenever they'd like," says Mr. Richardson. "With a mobile app, they can have anytime, anywhere access to the financial functionality they need to run their business better and keep a closer eye on the day-to-day financial picture.
"A mobile app can be a lifesaver for a financial officer," he continued. "Even if they have only a ten-minute window between meetings, they can log on, get an account snapshot, execute a payment to a vendor, and even perform a foreign exchange transaction - all without being tethered to a computer."
Through the accessMOBILE interface, RBS Citizens' commercial customers can receive alerts and bank mail, approve pending transactions, view account history and transaction details, get current-day snapshots, and perform intra-company funds transfers. Also available are features for commercial cards and foreign exchange, all from the business customers' mobile devices and in a secure environment.
Mr. Richardson's presentation is titled, "Corporate Mobile Banking: Access - Anytime, Anywhere." More than 75 senior financial executives will attend the meeting.
accessMOBILE was the first in a series of "access"-branded offerings that RBS Citizens is developing specifically for the ease-of-use, flexibility and accessibility of banking functions for businesses. Earlier this year, Citizens pioneered accessBUSINESS Manager™, an all-in-one, fixed-price package of cash management products developed for small- and mid-sized businesses. This first-to-market offering provides business owners with a combination of convenience and cash management services in a bundled package. More recently, Citizens launched accessCARD Command™. This first U.S. application of MasterCard's "spend-management" service for business cardholders gives small business owners greater control over expenses.
