MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, will host its second-annual Virtual Career Fair on October 23 from noon to 7:00 p.m. CST.1 This free event presents students, alumni and community members with networking opportunities with more than 100 leading employers nationwide. The virtual platform offers job seekers and employers more flexible and efficient engagement opportunities to connect than traditional job fairs. In addition, participants may attend mini-preparatory, career-focused workshops and interact directly with the College's Career Services team, who will be on-hand virtually to answer questions and provide career advice.
"Rasmussen College is dedicated to staying ahead of the ever-changing recruitment landscape and job market. We work hard to provide opportunities for students to succeed in today's digital economy," says Lamont Allen, assistant vice president of student affairs and student success at Rasmussen College. "The Virtual Career Fair allows candidates to build connections with employers—and do so in a way that fits their busy lifestyle. Participants can use technology to actively network and learn about career options from leading employers from across the country and gain access to our career experts who are ready to assist them on their career path."

The virtual event allows busy job seekers to engage with recruiters and hiring managers to make connections efficiently and discuss qualifications and open positions from the comfort of their home or office. - Network with local, regional and national companies in a variety of industries.
- Engage in direct, individual conversation with hiring managers.
