Randstad ranks 4th on Top 100 Workplaces in Atlanta
North America CEO Linda Galipeau receives Best Leader award
ATLANTA, April 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Randstad, the second largest HR services and staffing company in the world, is proud to announce it has earned the number four spot on the list of The Atlanta Journal–Constitution's Top 100 Workplaces in the large employer category. In addition, Randstad North America CEO Linda Galipeau received special recognition, winning the award for the best leader in the large employer category.
The Top Workplaces award is based solely on employee feedback. The survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement, which measures employees' opinions about their jobs and the health of their organizations. A total of 335 Randstad employees participated in the survey.
In the Top Workplaces survey, Randstad employees expressed their satisfaction in the company's programs focused around rewarding, recognizing and incentivizing the workforce to achieve optimum productivity and results. The survey statements that Randstad scored highest in comparison to its peer group were fair pay and benefits, feeling well informed about important decisions and confident about their future at the company.
"While it is gratifying for any company to know that their employees are engaged and motivated, as an HR services company, our product is, quite literally, our people," said Galipeau. "We believe that the strong engagement level of our internal employees is reflected in the high level of service provided to our client companies and the many professionals and job seekers we work with.
Galipeau, who has served as CEO of Randstad North America and executive board member of Randstad Holding since March 2012, has been with the company for 18 years. Prior to this appointment, she served for four years as president of Randstad's US staffing division and 11 years as head of Randstad's Canadian operation, which she founded in 1997.
"Years of experience as trusted advisors to many of the world's top companies have helped us design employee engagement strategies that have made the difference for our clients and within our own organization as well," said Galipeau. "Our emphasis on the importance of employee engagement is born out of the sentiments expressed in this survey, and we will continue to work hard to deliver on our promise to our employees."
