Analyst Update: Earnings Schedules, Company Updates, New Launchesand Monthly SalesResults

U.S. stocks closed higher on Tuesday, February 10, fueled by hopes of a debt agreement between Greece and its creditors. S&P 500 hits its highest level in 2015, closing 1.1% higher at 2,068.59. Nine of the 10 main sectors finished higher, while energy-sector stocks ended lower due to a drop in oil prices. The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 0.8% to 17,868.76 and Nasdaq Composite moved up 1.3% to close at 4,787.65. Greece officials said that they plan to propose a debt-compromise plan to creditors in Brussels on Wednesday. The European markets also mostly closed higher, driven by optimism for a potential Greek debt deal. Eurozone officials are said to be considering extending Greece's bailout program by up to six months. The Asian markets also ended higher on Greece deal hopes. Chinese markets rose on Tuesday, despite data showing that consumer inflation hit its five-year low in January - marking the weakest reading since November 2009.
Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. (Sprouts Farmers) plans to release its financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 28, 2014 after the market closes on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Sprouts Farmers expects fourth quarter 2014 comparable store sales to grow in the range of 5.5% - 6.5%.
Staples, Inc. (Staples) issued a statement saying that the Company has met activist investor Starboard Value to discuss their ideas and added that the Company carefully considers all actions that would enhance shareholder value.
Starbucks Corporation (Starbucks) announced that the Company's tea chain Teavana will offer a limited-edition "First Blush" tea this Valentine's Day to the customers.
Stein Mart, Inc. (Stein Mart) reported that its December 2014 sales rose 7.9% YoY to $189.5 million, helped by strong sales in the Northeast, Midwest and Florida.
Steiner Leisure Limited (Steiner Leisure) plans to release its fourth quarter 2014 results on February 18, 2015, after the market close. According to Zacks Investment Research, the Company is expected to report a profit of $0.91 per share in the fourth quarter.
