WESTLAKE, Ohio, Nov. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Together with its franchise partners, Quaker Steak & Lube, one of the nation's leading family casual-dining restaurant chains, has announced the launch of its new menu, which includes many fan-favorite classics along with new flavor combinations to provide guests with fresh and on-trend dining options, while staying true to the restaurant's roots. The brand has also rolled out a new limited-time offer menu that includes a heartier lineup for the fall and winter seasons with options that pair well with new beverage choices. Both menus are sure to entice guests with their innovative food and made with high-quality ingredients.
Quaker Steak's all-day menu builds on the brand's mantra of "Steak is Our Middle Name," with the introduction of a 6 oz., 25-day aged, center cut top sirloin steak, giving guests four USDA Choice steak entrée options. In similar fashion, three new craveable steakburgers grace the menu pages. The Hangover Burger is topped with smoky bacon and a fried egg, while the Bacon Cheeseburger offers guests an all-time favorite. The Mac & Cheese Burger, a renewed favorite from Quaker Steak's past, is topped with bacon and savory, cheesy pasta.
Also notable is the expansion of the brand's salad category on its all-day menu, which now features five entrée salads that are chopped, tossed and piled high with fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses and choice proteins. An assortment of 11 salad dressings is available. Two new salads have been added to the mix on the all-day menu. The Asian Chicken Salad includes a blend of cabbage, peppers, carrots and mandarin oranges, topped with grilled chicken and spicy Korean BBQ Ranch dressing. By popular request, a Sirloin Steak Salad has been added and features the new 6 oz. center cut top sirloin steak, bacon, tomatoes, red onion and a sweet onion dressing.
Made famous in part by its extensive list of sauces with unique flavor combinations, Quaker Steak has added Korean BBQ Sauce — introduced earlier this year as part of Quaker Steak's monthly limited edition sauce program — it saw overwhelming success with guests. With savory soy and sweet brown sugar flavors combined with a sting of heat, Korean BBQ Sauce is sure to be a fan favorite as an everyday option.
"At Quaker Steak & Lube, we pride ourselves on our award-winning, quality food," said Bruce Lane, vice president. "We are excited for the opportunity to introduce these new delicious flavors to our guests while ensuring that their all-time favorite dishes remain."
Quaker Steak & Lube's new limited-time menu features robust flavors perfect for cooler weather dining. Steak steals the limelight here as well, where the 6 oz., 25-day aged, center cut top sirloin is paired with shrimp or chicken for Surf and Turf and Turf and Turf options. Two additional steakburgers also take center stage for a limited time. The hearty Korean BBQ pulled pork burger features pulled pork, pepper-jack cheese, crisp slaw and Korean BBQ ranch stacked on top of a generous steakburger. The new Louisiana Peppercorn Burger — an improved-upon fan-favorite – is pepper-crusted, then topped with an O-Ring and one of the restaurant's most popular sauces, Louisiana Lickers.
Tater Tots are also here for a limited time. More than just a spud, Quaker Steak's tots come in two loaded versions – one with bacon and cheddar-jack cheese, and another with pulled pork and the brand's own "Original" BBQ sauce.
To wash it all down, Quaker Steak & Lube's new limited-time menu also features spiked and non-alcoholic beverages, developed by Shannon Salupo, the brand's corporate beverage manager. The Rebel Root Beer is mixed with Rebel Yell root beer whiskey, and the Dirty Shirley brings an adult twist to a childhood favorite. A classic root beer float is made with Quaker Steak's own Old Tyme bottled root beer; and, while he is not in the building, the peanut butter banana bacon milkshake gives nod to "the king's" favorite flavors.
"We love keeping our guests happy with new flavors and old favorites on our menus," said Lance Matthews, corporate chef at Quaker Steak & Lube. "And we want to cater to those who may be on special diets or have food allergies, so we've included a variety of vegetarian options on the new all-day menu, and have clearly identified gluten-free menu items to make their choices easier."
Quaker Steak & Lube's values are rooted deeply in offering quality food in an entertaining, vintage atmosphere. With its unique décor of classic cars, motorcycles and race cars with delicious food options and high-octane entertainment and events, Quaker Steak & Lube appeals to guests of all ages.
