Qorvis Launches Augmented Reality Campaign on Twitter to Promote Cyber Security Awareness Across The Federal Government
DC Represents, Sponsored by Intel, Kicks off with National Cyber Security Awareness Month
WASHINGTON, Oct. 4 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Qorvis Communications, one of the fastest-growing integrated communications firms in the U.S., today launched an augmented reality campaign on Twitter to promote cyber security across the federal government.
DC Represents is a cyber-security focused campaign backed by Intel (Nasdaq: INTC), the world leader in computing innovation, and targeted at Federal IT decision makers. The campaign kicks off in October to coincide with National Cyber Security Awareness Month and runs through the end of 2010.
The campaign aims to highlight real world issues Federal IT decision makers face to secure their agencies. The centerpiece of the campaign is a microsite where users can download relevant white papers, participate in a dialogue and play "Security Breakout" through augmented reality on campaign t-shirts and stickers that they can receive at events throughout the Washington metropolitan area.
