Qorvis Announces Promotions At All Levels
New Year Brings New Roles and Responsibilities for a Quarter of Qorvis' Staff
WASHINGTON, April 12 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Qorvis Communications, one of the fastest-growing integrated communications firms in the U.S., today announced 23 promotions at all levels including Laura Baldwin, Gautam Chatur, and Stefan Nagey to managing director.

The three Qorvis employees promoted to managing director are:
Laura Wooster Baldwin, who joined Qorvis in 2007, is a strategic communications professional who has worked primarily in the technology industry for nearly 15 years, helping organizations to influence positive perceptions across key audiences and to promote actions that support strategic goals. Baldwin has extensive experience in media and analyst relations, branding and messaging, customer and member programs, and global marketing. She has represented organizations ranging from Microsoft and HP to the U.S. Department of Defense, and worked internally at smaller technology providers such as AMS and Cybertrust. At Qorvis, Baldwin leads accounts that incorporate a variety of communications activities to increase their brand recognition, visibility and awareness in the press and across other critical audiences. Her clients have included AAMCO, the American Cable Association (ACA), Blackboard, Concord Coalition, Ericsson Federal, Feeva, Serco and Sprint.
Gautam Chatur, who joined Qorvis in 2009, is a lead interactive strategist who helps define innovative and highly effective digital marketing strategies for our corporate, association, government and nonprofit clients. Chatur performs detailed evaluations of client business environments to design integrated, insight-driven digital strategies. Prior to joining Qorvis, Chatur executed interactive and technology consulting projects at Sapient, Inc., a top-tier global consulting firm. Among his experiences there, he handled strategy for Sprint's social networking site buzzaboutwireless.com, the execution of search marketing/web analytics campaigns for Sprint Business, program management for the COO of the Library of Congress, a comprehensive audit of Washingtonpost.com, Newsweek Interactive IT, and project portfolio management for Verizon Inc. As the interactive account lead at Qorvis for YMCA of Metropolitan Washington and the Society for Human Resource Management, Chatur successfully defined and executed the web advertising and digital marketing strategies and executed search/banner advertising/SEO campaigns.
Stefan Nagey, who joined Qorvis in 2009, is an expert in web strategy and Internet technology with more than 15 years experience creating winning strategies, online marketing campaigns and new media experiences. Nagey was a member of the senior management team at Full Tilt Poker, where he was involved in web development, search engine optimization, online marketing and e-commerce. Nagey has won three WebAwards and has been nominated for the film industry's Key Art Awards and twice for Webby Awards. Nagey shares his interactive expertise with Qorvis clients including George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate & Gardens, the Mexico Tourism Board and ULLICO.
Qorvis promoted two new partners and also promoted 17 other employees at various levels. Promoted to senior director are Nicole Chardavoyne, Shane Colella, Jack Deschauer, Hampton Eubanks, David Mayorga, Wyeth Ruthven, Ryan Walsh and Katie Young. Promoted to director are Emily Boyer, Chelsea Cummings, Lauren Dyke, Sarabeth Patch and Kathryn Stetz. Promoted to senior associate are Lindsay Hyman, Kristen Marks, Lauren-Jei McCarthy and Eduardo Velez.
New hire Catherine Daniel recently joined Qorvis as senior associate. For the past two years she has managed social media and Internet outreach at The Weekly Standard. Daniel will be working with the Kurdistan Regional Government, Adobe, TASC, and many other social media clients.
