LOUIS, Sept. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Professional Golfer Keegan Bradley and his father, PGA Professional Mark Bradley, visited the St. Louis area to teach a free junior golf clinic to local children. The event took place from 4 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. at Winghaven Country Club in St. Charles, Mo. Sponsored by National Car Rental and the local Gateway PGA, the golf clinic was created to give youth in the St. Louis area a greater understanding of and appreciation for the game of golf.
"On behalf of the local Gateway PGA, we're pleased to welcome Keegan and Mark Bradley to St. Louis and thank them for their support of the PGA of America's mission to grow the game of golf at the grassroots level," said Josh Riley, executive director of the Gateway PGA. "The invitation to the junior golf clinic was sent to 3,000 families in the Gateway PGA database, and the event's 100 spots were filled in less than 20 minutes. These young players were thrilled to have this opportunity to meet Keegan and Mark Bradley and learn some of their golf techniques."

Keegan Bradley, the winner of the 2011 PGA Championship, and his father serve as ambassadors for the National Car Rental PGA Pro-Am Series, which links together nearly 100 new and existing amateur tournaments across the 41 PGA of America Sections nationwide. The father-son team also promotes the National "Go Like A Pro" mobile experience -- a customized, golf-themed tour bus that travels to events throughout the Pro-Am Series.
