RALEIGH, N.C., Nov. 15, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- PRA International, a leading Clinical Research Organization, will exhibit the features of our new state-of-the-art bioanalytical laboratory and other Early Development Services (EDS) programs at the FIP Pharmaceutical Sciences 2010 World Congress in association with the AAPS Annual Meeting and Exposition from 15-18 November 2010 in New Orleans, Louisiana, US.
PRA directors and representatives from our Lenexa, Kansas-based North American Bioanalytical Laboratory will be available at booth 1125 to discuss how the new laboratory can enhance the quality, timeliness, and overall support of Phase I deliverables. Joining them will be leaders from our EDS facilities in The Netherlands and Central and Eastern Europe, as well as Operations and Marketing representatives.
Located only a short drive from PRA's Clinical Pharmacology Unit in Lenexa, PRA's fully certified Bioanalytical laboratory offers analytical services for local, national, and international clinical trials. Its highly experienced staff possesses the scientific, regulatory, project management and communication skills to support the most complex and demanding studies. The new laboratory will also serve as an extension of our Netherlands-based bioanalytical facility.
"For the first time in the US, PRA's full suite of early clinical development and bioanalytical services is now available in one locale," said Peter Ketelaar, PRA's Vice President Bioanalytical Laboratories. "Having our lab and clinic located so closely together allows for a single point of contact, removes logistic issues involved in sample analysis, minimizes potential risk in sample integrity and significantly decreases turn-around time in data analysis and reporting for our clients."
PRA EDS is a powerful, international group helping pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients with their Phase I and bioanalytical development programs. The pharmacology unit in Lenexa has operated since 1997. Clinical research units are located in The Netherlands and Central and Eastern Europe.
