Hispanicize, taking place at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel and Spa in Los Angeles from April 6th through 8th, is a three day conference for Hispanic media professionals that includes Hispanic PR training workshops, interactive social media events, industry-leading keynote speakers and various networking activities.
PR Newswire will provide complete information and a comprehensive demonstration of the platform on Friday, April 8th at 3 pm, at their booth, #108. All attendees are encouraged to visit the booth to learn more about the tool that will revolutionize engagement with Latino audiences.
"The nation's top Hispanic marketers, communicators and bloggers are expected to gather at the Hispanicize Conference so it is a perfect venue for PR Newswire to introduce its digital engagement platform to Latino media professionals," said Cristy Clavijo-Kish, senior vice president, Multicultural Markets, PR Newswire. "We are excited to showcase how the platform will enable PR professionals to share digital content and engage with key media, bloggers and consumers faster, more efficiently and more effectively than ever."
Clavijo-Kish will also moderate the session entitled 'Hispanic Media in the Digital Age' on April 8th in the General Session ballroom. Presenters include Mary Ann Gomez, President of the National Association of Hispanic Publishers; Felipe Estefan, planning producer at CNN; and Miguel Ferrer, director of AOL Latino. The presenters will discuss the continued role of local Hispanic print and online media, the latest data surrounding Hispanic social media consumption and its affect on PR strategies and interaction with Hispanic media, as well as how Spanish-language TV networks are changing the way they gather and report news across multiple platforms.
In conjunction with the conference organizers, PR Newswire's Multicultural Markets team will be presenting the 2011 Hispanicize Scavenger Hunt. Attendees can register their teams of four at the PR Newswire booth, #108. Participants will be asked to search for clues, take photos, film video and answer questions, all of which will be posted online at the game's Facebook Hispanicize page. The teams who garner the most points will have the chance to win valuable prizes including Flip HD cameras, complimentary news distributions for upcoming press releases, Time Square photo placements and a full decorative bedroom ensemble from the Casa Christina line found at KMart/Sears stores. All participating teams will also have their photos taken and displayed in Times Square.
