POWER-GEN International Event Expected to Bring 20,000 Attendees to Las Vegas
TULSA, Okla., Nov. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- POWER-GEN International 2011, the industry's largest trade show, is expecting record-breaking attendance in Las Vegas, NV, December 13-15 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. More than 1,200 companies from all sectors of the power generation industry have already booked their space on the massive exhibit floor and attendance is on track to break the 20,000 mark. POWER-GEN International officially kicks off with an opening keynote session on Tuesday, December 13 at 9:30 a.m. The keynote features David M. Walsh, the senior vice president, services and manufacturing of Mitsubishi Power Systems of America; Donald B. Karner, the president and CEO of ECOtality of America; and Elmo Collins, Regional Administrator for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
After the keynote the exhibit floor opens and the conference sessions begin. A plethora of learning opportunities for attendees, the conference sessions will cover competitive power generation, environmental issues, fossil technologies, gas turbine technologies, renewable energy, on-site power and plant performance.
POWER-GEN International will have two co-located events this year, the POWER-GEN Financial Forum and NUCLEAR POWER International.
