Poshmark Welcomes Steven Tristan Young as First Chief Marketing Officer
The leader in social commerce continues to expand its executive leadership team, naming first-ever CMO
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Nov. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Poshmark, the leading social commerce platform for the next generation of retailers and shoppers, today announced that Steven Tristan Young, an accomplished marketing leader and brand strategist for high-growth startups and Fortune 500 companies, joined the company as its first Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Young will lead growth, product and brand marketing for the rapidly-growing company, driving the team through the next phase of growth.
Young brings a proven track record of building and scaling distinguished consumer brands, having spent seven years at GrubHub prior to Poshmark, where he was instrumental in driving brand awareness as well as double-digit year-over-year customer acquisition growth. Young's extensive marketing career spans leadership positions at DIRECTV, American Express, PUMA and Endurance International. Notably, Young was instrumental in helping shape the brand marketing strategy for American Express's flagship product, The Centurion Card, during his tenure. Young holds a BS in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
