Poo~Pourri Unveils New Packaging At Winter Gift Shows, Announces Limited Time Show Specials
Research Reveals Four of Five Customers Prefer New Custom Bottle Featuring Artisan Hand-Illustrated Designs and Embossed Monogram Cap

When people reach for their Poo~Pourri Before-You-Go Toilet Spray later this year they'll be grabbing on to little works of art. The company today announced a new, patented custom-designed bottle with an embossed "P&Co." monogram cap and a shrink-wrap label with intricate, hand-drawn illustrations representing each scent.
It's not just art for art's sake, however, as research indicates that four out of five consumers prefer the more upscale look in their Poo~Pourri package. Product with the new packaging will begin shipping in May 2015.
Poo~Pourri has been best-known for two things: Its effectiveness at stopping toilet odors before they begin, and its cheeky marketing, notably the now-classic "Girls Don't Poop" video, and including the most recent viral hit, "Even Santa Poops," which earned more than 13 million views during the holiday season. With the new packaging, the company can add "looking great" to its virtues, as the new packaging not only delights the eye, but also gives the products a more unified brand identity.

Packaging for all 11 scent varieties of Poo~Pourri, in all sizes, will feature hand-drawn illustrations created exclusively for Poo~Pourri by artist, Christina Mrozik. The new custom bottle and shrink label provided more space to bring through the personality of each scent. Developed over the course of a year, an in-house team at Poo~Pourri created mood boards and color palettes that built upon the existing "POOsanalities" of each scent from the original packaging. Mrozik then developed rough sketches for each scent, which she brought to life through pencil, ink and watercolor. To complement the illustrations, new packaging copy ("POO-etry") was developed by an in-house "Poo Crew" to pump up the attitude of each scent profile. In addition to the illustrations, the new label designs more prominently feature the Poo~Pourri toilet paper roll logo, the name of each scent variety and its profile.
To celebrate its new packaging, the company also announced a series of Winter Gift Show Specials for attendees and members of the Gift, Home Decor, and Accessories Retail Trade, including the introduction of a Limited Edition Original Citrus Metallic Gold label (available to order January 6, 2015 through February 13, 2015):
