DALLAS, Feb. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Poo~Pourri released its new video ad from Number Two Productions today, "Save Your Relationship," right in time for Valentine's Day. Poo~Pourri broke tradition with the focus of its new video, as it's the first spot from the Before-You-Go® toilet spray maker that doesn't focus solely on high-stakes bathroom situations, but instead, focuses on relationships.
Bathroom odor can be a cause of annoyance or even anxiety in intimate relationships. The new ad draws from this type of real-life feedback and features a couple in a rut who try to strengthen their relationship through a variety of methods such as yoga, gifts, and lingerie, all with hilarious results.
The ad is cut in a listicle storytelling style, which is a first for Poo~Pourri and a unique style for brands in general. Even though the first 90 percent of the video isn't branded, the success of Poo~Pourri's interactive "Control the Shituation" video series released last fall showed that ads focused on a storyline were just as effective as ads that used a direct selling style.
