Pocky Partners With Fooji To Deliver "Happiness On Demand" In Los Angeles Region
First 1,000 fans that respond to a social post will receive a sweet surprise on Pocky Day
IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Everyone needs a little more happiness these days, and Ezaki Glico USA is planning to deliver it in the fastest way possible to fans living near its southern California headquarters. In celebration of Pocky Day on November 11, Ezaki Glico is partnering with fan engagement platform Fooji to deliver Pocky to the doorsteps of the first 1,000 Los Angeles area fans within two hours of responding to a tweet or Facebook post.
This is the fourth year in the U.S. and the 18th year in Japan that Ezaki Glico is celebrating Pocky Day on the 11th day of the 11th month of the year, an homage to the thin, stick shape of the confectionary maker's most popular biscuit snack.

Fans need to be quick and attentive to get in on the fun that will start with a tweet and Facebook post on Pocky Day, Saturday, November 11 at 10 a.m. PST. The first 1,000 fans who respond to Pocky's tweet or Facebook post before 7 p.m. PST using specific combinations of a #PockyDay2017 hashtag and emoji, will receive a link where they will provide address information needed for the delivery. Fooji, a real-time fan engagement platform, will collect the information and manage fulfillment through its "on demand" transportation partners. Within two hours, fans will receive a special delivery that includes Pocky in five delicious flavors – Chocolate, Cookies & Cream, Matcha, Strawberry, and Chocolate Banana – as well as other Pocky-branded specialty items that are sure to surprise and delight.
Pocky fans not in the Los Angeles area that still want to celebrate Pocky Day are invited to visit Pocky's Facebook, Instagram or Twitter social pages to participate in an additional giveaway throughout this week. Two hundred winners across the three social channels will receive a prize pack. The social giveaway launched on Monday, November 6, and will end on Saturday, November 11 at 7 p.m. PST.
