KANSAS CITY, Mo., May 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The new Atlanta Falcons stadium, designed by Kansas City's 360 Architecture, won't be ready until the 2017 NFL season. The groundbreaking $1.2 billion stadium - featuring an eight-panel retractable roof and a Roman Pantheon-inspired glass wall that opens with the roof - will seat approximately 70,000 people, with 180 luxury suites and 7,500 club seats.

Visitors to Scouting 500, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 17 at the Kansas Speedway, won't have to wait until 2017 to tour the stadium. 360 Architecture is partnering with PocketCake, a Kansas City company specializing in virtual reality (VR) and custom mobile app development, to allow visitors to take a virtual tour of the stadium using the Oculus Rift. PocketCake's VR services, coupled with the Oculus Rift, allow users to inhabit real space, walking wherever they want.
