WASHINGTON, June 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) today released new advertising as part of its "From Hope to Cures" campaign, highlighting America's biopharmaceutical researchers dedicated to bringing new treatments and cures to patients.
The latest print and digital ads feature Jen and Yingzi, oncology researchers working to discover new ways to fight and treat cancer. Every day, biopharmaceutical researchers like Jen and Yingzi work tirelessly and against tremendous odds to bring new medicines to cancer patients and are the driving force behind the more than 800 medicines currently in development for cancer.
In addition to the new ads featuring Jen and Yingzi, the "From Hope to Cures" campaign is featuring several other researchers, including Kelly, Wei and Kalpana who are working to develop new breakthroughs in immuno-oncology treatments.
The campaign also features digital and print ads and videos highlighting the stories of Rhys, a five-year-old living with type 1 diabetes and celiac disease; Jamie, a woman battling a rare blood cancer; and Matt, a lung cancer survivor.
"From Hope to Cures" launched in January 2014 to highlight the value biopharmaceutical innovation provides to patients, society and the economy.
