FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., April 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Phoenix (www.PhotographsByPhoenix.com) commissioned TransMedia Group (www.transmediagroup.com) to zoom in on PR for her "Wetland Wonders" Exhibition April 20 -27, 2013 at the Broward Art Guild, 3280 NE 32^nd Street, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

"I was inspired by TransMedia's event capabilities which included many successful art exhibits in New York and Florida," said Phoenix, whose works are sold at more than 16 locations throughout South Florida.

TransMedia will aim the media lenses at a special reception on Wednesday, April 24,2013, 5:30-8:30 p.m at "Wetland Wonders" Exhibit benefiting HANDY, a non-profit 501(c)(3) local charity serving disadvantaged youth in Broward County.

TransMedia Manager of Public Relations Abby Blake said Phoenix photos are breathtaking and "those who view them will get lost in the beauty of nature that's all around us."

"I've often wished I could capture a sunset or a bird perched on a tree branch as eloquently as Phoenix," said Adrienne Mazzone, TransMedia Group's Vice President of Arts & Entertainment. "It's an amazing opportunity to promote someone who can capture such visual moments of natural beauty."

TransMedia said its publicity will deliver a close-up look at the images and the artist behind the camera to garner an audience, from visitors to natives, who the firm feels will become instant collectors of Phoenix's prints.

Phoenix has many photography awards including top ranking Individual Artist Recipient of 2013 Creative Investment Program (CIP) Grant awarded by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners as recommended by the Broward Cultural Council.
