Phillips Edison & Company Announces Cherilyn Megill As Vice President Of Marketing And Communications
CINCINNATI, Oct. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Phillips Edison & Company announced that Cherilyn Megill has been named Vice President of Marketing and Communications. In her new role, she will be responsible for the company's marketing and branding strategy, communications, digital marketing and business development.

Ms. Megill has been active in the shopping center industry for over 25 years, most recently as Vice President of Marketing for Retail Properties of America, Inc. where she was responsible for corporate marketing and communications as well as the marketing for their shopping center portfolio including over 39 million square feet of properties. Prior to her role at Retail Properties of America, Inc., Ms. Megill handled marketing for The Boyer Company overseeing their corporate program and marketing for The Gateway in Salt Lake City, Utah. She spent 15 years with The Hahn Company/TrizecHahn establishing the company's tourism program and overseeing marketing for their high profile shopping centers including Horton Plaza and Hollywood & Highland Center.
Ms. Megill is active with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) as an educator and facilitator at various institutes and conferences and has served as the chairperson of the ICSC CMD Governing Committee, U.S. MAXI Chairperson, and recently as a member of the CRX committee, a new designation for senior level shopping center executives. She is the recipient of numerous ICSC MAXI awards for social media, advertising and corporate campaigns. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications, with a public relations emphasis, from Weber State University.
Linda Fatherree, Director of Marketing, will retire in December after 27 years in the shopping center industry. She has been involved with Phillips Edison's marketing program since 1996, serving as a consultant for 14 years before joining the company full time in 2010.
