PGA TOUR Superstore Announces Grants to Denver area chapters of The First Tee
DENVER, March 7, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- PGA TOUR Superstore has announced a $5,000 grant to The First Tee of Denver and a $5,000 grant to The First Tee of Green Valley Ranch to deliver educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
The grant will be awarded Saturday, March 8, at the Greenwood Village PGA TOUR Superstore located at 9451 East Arapahoe Road, one block East of I-25. The checks will be presented at 1 p.m. during the store's Golf-A-Rama event, and youth from both chapters of The First Tee will be in attendance. The public is invited to attend.

The First Tee of Denver conducts programs in the schools and during after-school, weekend and summer periods for more than 9,200 young people annually, through after-school and summer programs and 47 area elementary schools enrolled in The First Tee National School Program.
The First Tee of Green Valley Ranch conducts programs in the schools and during after-school, weekend and summer periods for more than 4,300 young people annually, through after-school and summer programs and 2 area elementary schools enrolled in The First Tee National School Program.
PGA TOUR Superstore has 19 retail locations. The superstores are owned and operated by Golf & Tennis Pro Shop, Inc., whose controlling owner and chairman is Arthur M. Blank, retired Home Depot co-founder and owner of the Atlanta Falcons. Blank became a Trustee of The First Tee in January 2012, committing $1 million to the youth development organization.
