NEW YORK, June 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- This June, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, one of Italy's leading brands and the world's No. 1 premium Italian beer, is teaming up with (RED) as the official beer of EAT (RED). DRINK (RED). SAVE LIVES, a campaign led by Mario Batali and Pat LaFrieda to raise money and awareness to fight AIDS. The campaign kicks off June 1, and runs through June 10, with Peroni providing support at a number of participating restaurants and bars across the country.
EAT (RED). DRINK (RED). SAVE LIVES gives food and drink enthusiasts the opportunity to play an active role in the fight to end AIDS. From Michelin-starred restaurants, to bars, food trucks and everyone in between, there will be delicious (RED) culinary experiences available for everyone.

Consumers 21 and older can participate in the EAT (RED). DRINK (RED). SAVE LIVES campaign by visiting participating restaurants and bars, where they can enjoy Peroni and join the brand's efforts with (RED) by making a contribution to The Global Fund. As the campaign's official beer, Peroni is working closely with participating establishments across the country to further spread awareness about this new program. When perusing menus this June, patrons are encouraged to join the efforts by choosing Peroni as their drink of choice at these participating restaurants.
