MONTVALE, N.J., Nov. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- PENTAX Medical Company, a healthcare industry leader in endoscopic imaging, announced its OPTIVISTA EPK-i7010 Video Processor has received a 2017 Innovative Technology designation from Vizient, Inc., the largest member-driven healthcare performance improvement company in the country. The designation was based on direct feedback from hospital experts who interacted with the OPTIVISTA at the Vizient Innovative Technology Exchange in Denver on Sept. 14, 2017.

The OPTIVISTA offers physicians HD+ imaging with digital and optical-based electronic chromoendoscopy (PENTAX i-SCAN™ and OE Optical Enhancement technology). This unique enhancement expands applications to a broader range of clinical needs across detection, identification and confirmation during endoscopy.
