Emanuel as the Managing Partner of its new Chicago office.  Mr. Emanuel is an accomplished litigator and counselor to financial institutions on compliance matters.  He has been recognized by the Leading Lawyers Network as a Top Lawyer in Illinois in the areas of Banking & Financial Institutions Law and Creditors' Rights/Commercial Collections Law.

Mr. Emanuel received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law.  Prior to attending law school, he worked for the United States Department of Justice and was a recipient of the Department's Special Achievement Award during his tenure.

Mr. Emanuel is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois, the Northern District of Indiana, the Western District of Michigan and the Western District of Wisconsin.  He has also been specially admitted to practice in Florida, California and numerous other states.
