Parents Step Ahead Nominates Raul Magdaleno for MillerCoors Lideres 2010

DALLAS, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Parents Step Ahead, a four-year-old Texas-based initiative setting the standard in increasing parental involvement with their mission "to recognize, educate, enable and empower parents to take a proactive role in the educational and personal development of their children," has nominated community leader Raul Magdaleno for this year's MillerCoors Lideres program. Through online voting from now until October 29, 2010, Mr. Magdaleno will have the opportunity to win a $25,000 grant for Parents Step Ahead to develop a community-based initiative that furthers their mission in partnership with MillerCoors. One of these leaders will be selected as the Lider of the Year through online voting on the MillerCoors Lideres website through October 29, 2010. The public is invited to go to the website and select their top candidate. The winner will receive a $25,000 grant to develop a community leadership project in concert with their non-profit organization and MillerCoors. To be selected as a Lider, individuals must be of Hispanic descent between 21-39 years old and work with a nonprofit organization with a mission of supporting the Hispanic community.
