More than thirty company-owned Papa John's restaurants in northern China are using DigitalPersona U.are.U^® Fingerprint Readers with NCR Advanced Restaurant (formerly Compris) point-of-sale (POS) software to record employee time and attendance, as well as authorize overrides and discounts.

Papa John's employees previously used smart cards to record their time and attendance.  Managers used the cards to authorize discounts, voids and overrides.
