Pamplona Appoints Justin Perreault as a Partner as it Continues to Build US Private Equity Presence

LONDON and NEW YORK, December 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --

Pamplona Capital Management ("Pamplona"), a leading global specialist investment manager, is pleased to announce the appointment of Justin Perreault as a partner as it continues to build its US-based private equity presence.

Mr. Perreault, who will be based in Boston, has over twenty years of information technology private investing and operating experience, and will be focussing on investing in the technology, media and telecom sectors. He joins the business from Commonwealth Capital Ventures, where he co-managed three growth and early stage technology funds with $600 million of committed capital. Prior to starting at Commonwealth Capital Ventures in 1999, he also worked at Object Design Software, Inc., Harvard Private Equity Group and McKinsey & Co.

Mr. Perreault holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, summa cum laude, as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School.

His appointment increases the number of partners based in the US to five.

Last month Pamplona agreed to acquire MedAssets, a leading healthcare performance improvement company that serves four out of every five hospitals in the United States. Other transactions this year have included the sale of a significant minority interest in OGF, the leading funeral services provider in France, to Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan; the acquisition of Precyse, a leader in Health Information Management services, education and technology; the sale of a controlling stake in Alvogen to a CVC Capital Partners led investment consortium; and the acquisition of Partner in Pet Food, one of Europe's leading pet food producers.
