SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Pacific Union International real estate top producer, Steve Mavromihalis put the spotlight on 10SerenityLane.com, a 100-acre hilltop vineyard property in the Bay Area for a recent gala fundraiser. The September 13th event featured vintage car race enthusiasts gathered at the vineyard's impressive chateau at the base of Mount Diablo to raise funds for San Francisco's Homeless Prenatal Program HomelessPrenatal.org. Mavromihalis, a founding board member of HPP, gathered members of the Classic Sports Racing Group CSRGracing.org and friends including co-host Kevin Kalkhoven, CEO of Cosworth Engineering, visiting from the UK for the Indy Car Races at the Sonoma Raceway; famed race car driver, Jimmy Vasser; award winning chef Charles Phan of the Slanted Door; master chocolatier Panos Panagos of Alegio Chocolates, Reid Bergsund of Honda Innovations, and Scott Gross of McLaren Cars.
Charles Phan and his talented Slanted Door team prepared dinner for all the guests, who enjoyed several varietals of Serenity Estate Wines produced on the 100-acre hilltop vineyard property. Mavromihalis, who has listed the estate for sale at $25 million called the racers together into the estate's immense great room, where Kalkhoven and Vasser treated guests to a presentation on the 2013 Indianapolis 500 won by their team.
Charles Phan signed a dozen copies of his latest cookbook, which were raffled off to guests, along with a case of Vasser's 2013 limited production commemorative Indy 500 wine from Napa Valley, to add to the tally of funds raised by the Racers Building Community event to benefit homeless women and their families in San Francisco.
Departing guests were treated to chocolate truffles from Alegio, and an up-close view of McLaren's latest Supercar, The 720S.
