WICKLIFFE, Ohio, July 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The FEST 2017 will be held at the Center for Pastoral Leadership in Wickliffe (28700 Euclid Avenue, Wickliffe, Ohio) on Sunday, August 6 from noon to 10 p.m.
The FEST is a day of faith, family and fun – all for free. This inspiring outdoor family FESTival will feature live national Christian artists performing on the main stage. The lineup includes for KING & COUNTRY (6:15 p.m.), Crowder (4:30 p.m.), Matt Maher (3 p.m.) and Laura Story (1:30 p.m.). The volunteer-based planning team for the FEST is expecting more than 39,000 attendees from across northern Ohio and beyond.
The FEST will include many family-friendly activities, including the Marc's Mom's Relaxation Station, with more than 200,000 giveaways, massages and makeovers; the Man Cave, with great giveaways and drawings; and the Kid's Area, with dozens of interactive activities. Additionally, a variety of affordable food will be available for purchase throughout the day at family-friendly prices, thanks to Executive Caterers, Marc's and Johnsonville – bringing the world's largest brat grill.
A number of faith-based activities will be offered as well, including tours of Borromeo and St. Mary Seminaries, reconciliation, adoration and a man cave for busy dads. The FEST concludes with an inspiring outdoor Catholic Mass at 8 p.m. followed by an incredible American Fireworks display.
During the FEST, religious leaders from across the region are invited to come together for a Unity Dinner at 5 p.m. The headlining band, for KING & COUNTRY, will welcome and host the event designed to encourage greater cooperation on important issues in our community, especially the heroin epidemic (see www.GreaterthanHeroin.com).
This year's theme is "A FULL LIFE" because the FEST is a full day with great music, activities and displays to strengthen family and faith. The fun and joy at the FEST is a glimpse of the fullness of joy God has for each of us.
