Oscar Trelles Joins Tribal DDB New York as Head of Technology
Agency Brings on Top Technologist from Domani Studios
NEW YORK, May 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Tribal DDB Worldwide, the highly awarded advertising agency, is pleased to announce that Oscar Trelles has joined the New York office as Head of Technology.
Peruvian-born Trelles comes to Tribal DDB after more than four years as a Director of Technology/Partner at Domani Studios. Previously Trelles held leadership roles at well-recognized digital shops in New York City and as a freelancer. His experience as a technical lead includes work for Sheraton, Doritos, Allstate Insurance, Best Buy, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, MySpace, Starbucks, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Tequila Cuervo, Toyota and Trump. Oscar's work, including the multi-award-winning "We Choose the Moon" for The JFK Library and Museum, has been celebrated at award shows such as Cannes, D&AD, The Webbys and the One Show.
Trelles attended the Economics program at Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria in his native Lima, where he subsequently began his career in technology as the University's Webmaster in 1998. Since then he has become a top technologist with over a decade of experience leading multidisciplinary teams in the digital advertising industry. Drawing from his business background and passion for creative problem-solving, Oscar spearheads technology strategy with the premise that anything is possible with the right tools, which gives his team the confidence to constantly push the envelope and foster innovation.
