A Portion of the Proceeds from Sales of Norelco Products will be Donated to Operation Homefront
SAN ANTONIO , Nov. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ Operation Homefront, the non-profit that provides emergency financial and other assistance to military families and Wounded Warriors, this week announced a partnership with Philips Consumer Lifestyle. With the generosity of the company, Operation Homefront will receive a portion of the proceeds from the sale of products in military exchanges beginning November 1 through December 31.

The partnership demonstrates America's continuing support to our military families, who may find themselves in financial crisis while loved ones are on duty overseas. The campaign is expected to run through the holiday season and conclude at the end of the year.

Operation Homefront – which holds Charity Navigator's highest rating of four stars – provides emergency assistance to military families, including financial and food aid, auto repair and donation, home repair, and furniture and household item donations. Operation Homefront Villages allow the families of wounded warriors to stay together during rehabilitation at military hospitals. Operation Homefront also conducts morale and support programs for military spouses and children. In 2010 alone, Operation Homefront was able to meet over 167,000 needs of military families, and were able to include 69 families of Wounded Warriors and their families in Operation Homefront Villages.
