One Treasured Family Recipe and Tradition Will Win $20,000 Towards a Dream Family Reunion
Five Finalists From Around the Country Travel to New York City for Judging Event in the Fourth Annual Spreading Smucker's® Traditions Recipe and Essay Contest

Smucker Company proudly announces the top five finalists in the Spreading Smucker's® Traditions Recipe and Essay Contest. These five original family recipes and the stories behind them are vying for a chance to win $20,000 towards a dream family reunion and $1,000 for a personal party planner. The recipe creators will compete on March 8, 2012 at the contest finals in New York City.

Contest Overview
The fourth annual Spreading Smucker's Traditions Recipe and Essay Contest challenged consumers to submit one of their favorite original family recipes made with at least 1/4 cup of Smucker's jams, jellies, preserves or fruit butter products and original essay describing how the recipe makes their family traditions special. These amateur cooks will prepare their original entries in New York City on March 8, 2012 before a panel of food industry judges.
