LOS ANGELES, April 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Omelet (omeletla.com), the seven-year-old creative shop based in Los Angeles, today announced its involvement with a multi-city and multi-media campaign created for HBO's new scripted comedy series "VEEP." The show stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Emmy® winner for "Seinfeld" and "The New Adventures of Old Christine") as Selena Meyer and tells the story of a woman who becomes Vice President, only to discover the job is nothing like she expected, but everything she was warned about. Created by Armando Iannucci, VEEP kicks off its eight-episode season at 10pm on Sunday, April 22, exclusively on HBO.

To celebrate the imminent arrival of VEEP, Omelet will be bringing the VEEP Motorcade tour to Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and New York, starting April 17th. Complete with a police escort, lots of flags, and a tour bus emblazoned with Selina Meyer's face, the motorcade will tour each city, allowing citizens to sample the show and enjoy premium giveaways, like the popular 'America Is My Main Squeeze' stress-ball.
In addition to the motorcade, Omelet also produced a limited run of VEEP Commemorative Plates. The individually numbered pieces of vice presidential china were sent to key influencers and bloggers, along with a signed letter from Selina Meyer herself.
The VEEP motorcade will deliver its address on Tuesday, April 17th stopping at The Grove in LA, Times Square (at Planet Hollywood), the NYU Student Center and Bryant Park (6th Ave. between 42nd and 43rd) in New York City and at Georgetown (Wisconsin and M Street) in DC.
